Boxboard Strength Without the Synthetic

Our newest technologies for coating, Pen-cote® L binder and Pen-cote® D binder, give you the ability to extend up to 60% of the latex binder in a coating formulation on a 1:1 basis, one part Pen-cote® L substituted for one part latex. Your coating will have the same binding strength that you get with latex because our product is high in molecular weight and water holdout is improved to keep your binder on the sheet surface.

Pen-cote® D HV  Product Data Sheet
 MSDS 		Replace up to 60% of latex with Pen-cote® D dry. Readily dispersible binder maintains IGT Pick, IGT Blister and Printability.
