Penford conducted extensive research to gain insights into what customers and prospects wanted from the ingredient website. The new website at http://www.penford.com/ is a “one-stop-shop” for food scientists; the design is both easy to navigate and provides solutions categorized by market and application area. Users can access trial formulas, recommended usage levels by application, product specification sheets, material safety data sheets, and order samples.
The site also contains a News & Media section where visitors can view Penford’s press releases announcing company news including new products, product line extensions, acquisitions, and financial reports. This section also contains trade and business articles in which Penford is premiered. Additionally, visitors can find a list of events including trade shows, speaking engagements, and supplier nights in which Penford is participating.
